Looks to be a custom install in a cabinet, like a Barzilay. The receiver looks older Pioneer.

The receiver is indeed a Pioneer. Good eye ggreg! a pioneer sx-800 with a garrard lab-80 tt and a sony RtR. i could not figure out what the speakers are but they are huge. i am doing some quick rationalizing and trying to figure out just how the heck im going to move the beast. i am tempted to just yank out the electronics and leave the cabinet but it is in real nice shape. i am thinking the speakers might be some good stuff just because everything else looks quality.

So i sat around at the estate sale and removed all the electronics from the cabinet because it was just too heavy to move. at this time a man walked in and gave the estate people a wad of cash for everything left in the house. They then said that i had to get everything out right then because they were going home. i had calls out to several people with trucks but had no success. i then stated that i was going to stay right there with the stereo until i got a truck there. they looked a little peeved and we danced around with that for a bit. finally the lady said to her son "throw this in the van and follow him to his house". So we convoyed to my place and i slipped the kid 40 bucks for the trouble. All in all i got the stereo cabinet bought and delivered for a bit over 100 bucks.

So i yanked the back off the speakers and they appear to have all pioneer drivers. does anyone have any ideas on what kind of speakers these might be?

Don't know anything about the speakers but overall I think you got a smokin' deal.
Love the cabinet.

No way I'd leave the cabinet. It looks really nice.
Personally, I'd take the cabinets and flip the electronics. I've had the Pio-301s , and not a fan. The SX-800 was one of my first tube pieces and almost kept me from other tube pieces. I would gut the cabinets, flip them on the bay, and take the 3-400 hundo and put in something else. That cabinet looks keen! This is the fun of the hobby! Good scoop either way!
