i am going over my "new" pilot sa-232 with an eye towards replacing the parts that are damaged. both convenience outlets have cracked rubber boots over the wires at the back, and the actual outlet sockets have fairly large pieces broken off of them. i've attached a picture so you can see the outside of them; the rubber boots slip-fit down the wires and over the solder joints on the backside of that plate in which they're mounted.
unfortunately, i cannot seem to find anyone selling these old things. i spent an hour and a half last night trying "convenience socket", "convenience outlet" "non-polarized socket", etc., modified with "antique", "amplifier", etc. i tried the usual suspects (mouser, digi-key, aes, etc.) and could find nothing.
has anyone found these parts NOS or in current production?
a side note. one of the two phenolic speaker terminal strips must have broken or burned at one time, and was replaced by a poorly-executed fix consisting of a terminal lug strip, some nuts and bolts, and soldering. i am going to replace that, and wanted to get an "original" phenolic strip in the same brown as the original. that was hard to find, but i found two places they sell them: dynakit parts (http://dynakitparts.com) and nebraska surplus sales (http://www.surplussales.com/), and cheap. i had thought about replacing them both with actual binding posts, but would rather bring this amp back to stock (for example, i am not going to replace any resistors, at first, just the caps; on my first sa-232 i have gone through resistor replacement hell, in addition to recapping).
