whats the opinions on these can pick them up for 75 refoamed?

First thing I did to mine was change out that nasty sounding tweeter. It made the sound somewhat bearable to my ears. The hed's will go quite loud in typical cv fashion without much power. The 123 wasn't my cup of tea but they do have their fans. $75 is on the high side for a pair of hed's imho. For what it's worth my local used audio store had a pair that needed refoaming that took almost a year for the owner to give away.

i had a pair also. they were ok,but i don't miss them. $75.00 is a bit steep.
