Denon DRA-345R remote control code

Hello! I'm new to this forum but old in every other way;-) I'm in need of the remote control code number for the Denon DRA-345R receiver since my wife can't find the remote (yup, it's always her fault). Finally getting a new TV (Samsung 26C450 26" LCD) and Home Theater Master RF/IR remote (MX450) to connect DVR. VCR/DVD, turntable, and tape deck together. It will be most helpful if someone has the code for the Denon -- the store is trying to sell us a new receiver. Many thanks, Jeff in Kentucky

The Home Theater Master will likely already have the codes in it for your Denon. If not, purchase a slightly higher model number for the remote. Also, URC has a huge online database of downloadable codes for their remotes, so-- a Plan B. The dealer should certainly know this.

(??) The store is trying to sell you a new receiver because of the remote? I certainly hope not!
 
The proper Denon remote for the DRA-345R is the RC 129A. As it happens, I am looking for one myself, since I bought a used DRA-345R for $5 from Goodwill. If you find a source for these remotes at a reasonable price, please do let me know. There is currently one on eBay for about $28 incl shipping, but that's a little pricey for me. I have been meaning to explore the route of universal remotes, but haven't got around to really check that out yet. Best of luck.
