A dozen+ purchases. Been mostly happy. I usually get hard to find titles and a handful of those come from other countries. I order and often forget about it, until it comes.
Getting stuff shipped to Maui often takes forever, especially from Japan. It can take couple of weeks. Customs, and Oahu's mail center sucks. I'm used to it.
One rare record wasn't properly packed and had a crack. The seller refunded.
I'm currently waiting for four albums from Australia. Usually I try to buy from US sellers, but he had free shipping on orders of $100AU. Just for one it was around $36AU. So I dug up 3 more to get the free shipping deal. Then I get a note from the seller, saying Discogs made a mistake and shipping was $50AU+. I'm not the most punctual, and not always on Discogs. Pissed, I asked about canceling the order and a refund, but he had already shipped the package. I said that sucked. He agreed and offer to split the shipping. Since he had already sent it. Even though I felt I was being scammed, I asked him to bill me for half of shipping. Later he said he would cover the whole shipping costs. That made me feel better, but felt bad for the seller if somehow he got screwed out of shipping by Discogs.
