DIY Tube Amp small enough for a cigar box

I am looking to put together a small DIY tube amp that I could house in a cigar box. I am looking for this to be on the cheaper side because it will be my first tube DIY. Nothing fancy, one or two tubes. I would prefer it be a kit so I don't have to decipher schematics.
Another project I am working on is turning a old (but brand new) Lafayette mono speaker with an RCA jack into a powered speaker for my RCA 45-J. I found this little amp that would fit in nice but there is a wait on them right now https://www.tindie.com/products/tymkrs/tymkrs-amplify-me-lm386-amplifier-kit/
Does anyone know of any other small 9v powered amps that would work?
Cheers

Thank you, I always see those but was not sure they would work or not. I will order one right now and give it a go!

Regarding the tube amp, I've seen a Popular Mechanics one, here in AK, 1 tube, very very small. Try a search in this DIY forum.

The Russians have a bunch of miniature tubes they used in missile guidance. By miniature I mean REAL small. Come to think of it, I've seen folks use those mini tubes in builds with batteries they would fit in a candy tin. Like lozenge size tins for portable tube sound, can't remember where I've seen em tho.. but it's been done & can be done.

Cheers,
Bob
