Any reading material for the electronically challenged?
I visited our local swap meet and came away with one small book on reading schematics, and another 1929 textbook on various radio circuitry. Fun reading, but hardly present-day tech.
I'm looking for an overall guide that will get me up to speed with the various components in a typical system, and how components work together to do specific jobs (simple example, an inductor-capacitor relationship for oscillations - but what's an oscillation used for? How is it used with TV and radio? etc. etc.) My goal is to get to where I can read a schematic and feel the "flow" of the whole thing.
