I have a pair of post 4134SN DQ10s that are in need of some work. The xovers are a mess, having a variety of caps from who knows where and very sloppy workmanship. I have a copy of the xover schematic and have put together a list of parts at Madisound. The woofer resistors look a bit dark, so I plan to replace them and maybe others. I've read that non-inductive metal film resistors are best for audio, but would it screw things up to use them in the DQ10? I'm assuming the existing wire-wound resistors in the 10s are non-inductive, but I'm not sure - anyone know? Any input on the subject would be greatly appreciated. I've had these for some time and would really like to get them cleaned up.
THanks,
Kcarl
