Ebay JVC SX-A6 Look really cool

Hey guys, long time member, often lurker, seldom poster here.

Any experience with these?

I had a pair of JVS floorstanders with heavy and great sounding 12 inch woofs once. A quality speaker in spite of the fact it was purchased as part of a package.

They look cool. Could be Kabuki, without the chrome trim and frequency response charts. Or they could be good.


That square at the bottom has to be a passive radiator?

These would be a bit of a drive. But if they go cheap enough....

Any info appreciated. Thanks

I only say Kabuki because they are 6 driver, with two on the back.

SK-303s were the other ones

Those good sounding 12" 3-ways were probably JVC SK-303s.

Just got given a pair of these... was told they didn't work. To my delight, though they look a little worse for wear, they are functionally perfect. Even the tweeter level controls have no scratchiness in them.

They sound surprisingly good. Much better than what you'd expect from such an inexpensive speaker.
