Lord of the thighs
Hey, just bought this subwoofer from Elemental Designs. Anyone have any
say as to how good it is? I know it's not the best but my budget is a bit tight :(

Should work out OK for you. A lot of the car guys liked the "K" model sub, which is what is used in your subwoofer system. The plate amp looks adequate.
 
I own a A5-500. The output is very impressive. Plus it's not one of those "one tone" subs, it can be used for music. Congrats on your purchase.
 
I'm glad to hear i made a wise investment! Hopefully this will add some thump
to my current setup :yes:

i did a car with three of the k series, and loved it, i also use one of those plate amps myself in a custom built sub cab for a fifteen inch driver, solid little amps and dont cause any problems, just the kinds i like.

For a thrill, look on that site for the a7 900 ..get two and pretend you can fly..lol.
 
8 weeks is a bit long..

Hey, I emailed eD about when i should be expecting the subwoofer to be at
my door step. He replied about 8 to 10 weeks! I know quality takes time but
there has to be something with the same or better quality that i can order
and/or assemble myself. Any suggestions as to what might be a good subwoofer?
My price range is about $300 to $350. :thmbsp:
