ElectroVoice Patrician IV's...

Hello everyone.
I have 2 ElectroVoice Patrician IV's that I'm pulling out of 'slight' mothballs to get up and running. Last powered them up 3 or so years ago and they both worked...Very Well!
Anyone have a line on replacement parts/svc for these beasts that's convenient to the Greater Los Angeles area?

I'm new to this site and am 'advance appreciating' any tidbits of wisdom anyone cares to share.

Best to all.

A friend of mine used to have a big set of Pats, the older ones with the 18" woofer instead of the 30". He was quite impressed with the sound. I wish he still had them, I've never heard one in person.

Hooked up my iPod and receiver to the Patricians...
40-50 years old and still SMASHING! The 18" bass driver-folded horn set-up is still very tight.

Is interesting listening to mp3-ish technology through 1950's speakers.
Really re-opens the old debate of vinyl vs digital for me.
Makes me see how 'electronic' cd's and mp3's are.
Still sounds amazing, is scratchy-free, but is lacking in 'depth'.

I still have yet to hear ANYTHING with the presence of these speakers.
The drawback is that they DO have depth...the kind that takes up to much space wherever they sit...:music:

Best to all!
