EPI Magnus 10"s

Snagged a pair of magnus 10's at a garage sale, could see they needed woofer surrounds replaced. Instead opted for a pair of already refoamed Bose 501
woofers.
Not a bad sound..harsh top end using horn tweets
I placed a 2 uF cap in series with the tweeter,....hey not bad.
smoother, less brittle sounding and excellent bass response also.

any other AKer's own these cheapies?

I grab a set early on into this adventure we call audio and was very disappointed... not the EPI magic from the vintage stuff. Sorry

Old post but......are you commenting on the EPI's or the Bose???
