Epos Speakers

Saw a pair of Epos speakers at the thrift store yesterday, couldn't get the model because of a double bed mattress SA had planked in front of the speakers. They looked well made and heavy, walnut veneer, dome tweeter and about a 6 or 7 inch woofer, ported. Made in Canada. Anyone familiar with this brand?

Just found and read the Epos thread. Seems favorable.

I would run back and grab them, an excellent speaker. And if you do not want them

I goofed! Went back today and saw that they are not Epos, they are Energy ESM-2, 8 inch woofer, rubber surrounds, 2 way mirror imaged, sequential serial #s, vinyl clad. The SA store took the mattress away so I got a better look. Still probably worth $15.
