New to me to play with for awhile. Not much info out there, I am currently trying to track down foam for the woofers. Grill pegs too, weird double ball and socket type. One socket on grill, and another on cabinet. Peg has 2 balls. Really nice cabinets, they do need a bit of work. These will probably be brought to the next get together if time and space allows. Sound good, been listening off and on today with some Gil Scott Heron, Mumford and Sons and Gillian Welch. Any comments on availability of parts or suspected value appreciated.

A while ago I researched ESB speakers and pickin's were slim to none. From memory.....I did find out these Italian made speakers had one rep in the USA (Chicago area?) and that was in the 1980's I believe. Maybe the 90's? Unfortunately he passed away years ago. My understanding is they are well respected speakers.....but mostly unknown to America.

Oh I used to sell this speaker at a store I worked at in college. I would love to hear them again!

We need to do an entire Fest centered around NON mainstream gear. I've held on to several high performing lesser knowns and sold off my "household name" speakers.

Gil Scott Heron and Mumford and Sons on the same playlist eh? diggin it! His last and final album is still a favorite as is much of his earlier work. - You can hear that his lifestyle choices had an affect on his vocals but that soulful grittiness in his voice was still there, worn but definitely there.

Those Speakers look cool.

Thanks Jamal
I really love listening to a bunch of different stuff, kind of confuses the family sometimes. Gil Scott Heron was hands down the worst live performer I ever saw. It was downstairs at the Middle East, and something was "off" to say the least. He was late to the stage, and hit one note over and over while talking to a guy with a camera. If I recall, he didn't want the camera filming. Left after about a 1/2 hour f that. Don't know if he actually played that night. Was hoping for a bit more. I will always love his music, goosebumps and tears.

I believe they take generic 8” foam. I have the bookshelf version of those same speakers 7/01 that I refoamed yrs ago. Great under radar speakers. Keepers in my book. Congrats.

I would get them at that price for parts if need be. Still have mine, still sound great.
