Fairchild 248 preamplifier

bid now bid often 17 bids 5 days to go and over $2000. last one sold for over 3000.this seller also has a pair of 240 preamps going on now too and just recently sold a 255 amplifier for $1350.id love to have some of the gear this guy does.(actually i do i have the 248 preamp)

I think I just saw that for bid less than a month ago.

He has some great stuff, but he also really stretches the truth. If you look, you will notice the one preamp is missing a footer, has scratches on the bottom cover plate, is missing the front plastic piece, and has some serious cord rot, with the cord twisted in haphazard fashion. The other is missing nothing, the cord is intact, and no real scratches on the bottom.

One used, one not used.
