FAIRCHILD emblem,logos,etc...

radioactive

tube gear fanatic
this is a long shot but i was wondering if anyone has a good picture of the earlier i.d tag used on the eariler fairchild 260 that they can send me in high resolution.the one im looking for looks like the image below.i'm also looking for any other high qaulity images of the fairchild recording equiptment co like my other picture i posted.i'm not really interested in any fairchild semiconductor as theres enough of those on the net or even fairchild avitiation. fairchild camera and instruments would be fine also.you can start off posting them in this thread and i will pm you if i can use the higher res scan.

i plan on possibly getting these logos of all the different corporations of fairchild made into a shirt and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I came kinda close, I have a pic of a Fairchild 260 in an old SAMS book, but I see yours is better already. This ones at an angle, so not too good, for grabbing the logo. I'll keep looking, might get lucky.

this is from an amp I sold last year . . . woulda kept it but hulk gotta eat ! sorry for the blurriness . . .

thanks markus abit blurry but ill take it and ad it to the collection anyways.i remember your thread about it and its a shame you had to let it go.i never did come up with to much on it except for a small writeup at radio museum.it is truly a rare amp to say the least.

I don't know enough about Fairchild to understand why they are so valued, but this one sold for $4,350! Good luck with your search.

seen that auction and alreacy posted a thread about it:-) think of fairchild as the cream of the crop:smoke:.they were more known for their broadcast and recording gear than the home hi-fi gear in which they didnt produce much of which makes it hard to find compared to the more well known mfgs.i myself have pr of those 260 amps and a preamp just like the one you posted a link to.they will stay with me for the rest of my life.

oh btw im still looking for some high res scans of emblems if anyone has some.
