Ferrofluid Source?

I have a bunch of tweeters that need an oil change, but I'm having trouble locating a reasonably priced source of ferrofluid, and haven't even been able to find any in Canada.

Parts Express wants close to 60 buck (USD!) for shipping.

For a pair of KEF Coda III speakers, ferrotec.com sent me a "sample" of Ferrofluid APG O77n. After exchanging emails with KEF and one of ferrotec's techs, I learned not all ferrofluids are created equally and different manufacturers had their own concoctions.

Yes there are many formulations for ferrofluid. The formulations differ depending on the application. Ferrofluid is a three-component colloidal system; the dispersed iron oxide particle phase, the carrier fluid and the surfactant stabilizer which determines the aggregate and sedimentation stability of a colloidal system. The formulations differ in the carrier fluid and the surfactant used. Audio ferrofluids are typically based on two classes of carrier liquid: synthetic hydrocarbons and synthetic esters. Both oils possess low volatility and high thermal stability. For audio applications most formulations have similar physical properties and would be ok to use. Any audio formulation ferrofluid would be better than no ferrofluid in a driver designed to use ferrofluid.
