Filthy Dynaco A-25 found today.

If you're interested, here's my own A25 restoration thread with pictures, where I used Watco's Danish oil.

Looks great from the back also. It's hard to imagine how the grilles got that bluish stripe thing going on. That's weird.
(I was just wondering about the Made in Denmark, not that it implies any special powers or value.)

I have seen no markings anywhere. Even the serial numbers incomplete or hard to read

No expert, but I don't think Dynaco speakers had any serial numbers, at least not on the outside.
(I am not suggesting opening these things up.)

Stickers on the backs with numbers but one is ripped and the other some of the numbers are faded.

I ended up using orange oil and a microfiber cloth. Only used steel wool on one stubborn bit of gunk.
It really brighten them up..

Those look damn good for just the orange solvent cleanup. Replace that cloth with some linen and the electrolytic caps and away you. A niuce sounding simple 2-way. BTW, you can find a new kit at Madisound:

At my local fabric store I found some fabric sold for sheer curtains with a weave pattern somewhat similar to the original. Light gray, very thin, acoustically transparent but opaque enough to hide the black wood frame of the grille and the front of the cabinet.

True . My wife's comments were they sound good, they smell good- she didn't see them until after the cleaning - and the grills are very ugly.
So no need to hurry but will make a decision soon. Beige is also available. But I am still leaning towards off white.
