Finally I got a Kenwood Basic C2 Preamplifier

I have been hunting for a Kenwood Basic C2 preamp for almost a year and finally I found one! Near mint of course! It sounds warmer than the C1. Wow, a big difference in the vinyl section! Now I am stuck with two Basic C1. The C2 has a lot more inputs on the back so that is what I needed too! Very happy with this purchase!

Nice score! Forgive these old eyes, but I can't make out what the power amp is. It for sure is Sigma drive, so M1A? In either case, you have a flexible and powerful system. Enjoy it to the max! :thmbsp:

Very nice, I like it!. I see you have a Kenwood 6disk Cd changer. what model is it as I have the Kenwood M98 6disk changer and your looks very much like mine.

The amp is M1 and yes it has for sigma! The cd player is Kenwood DP-M7730, I have as well the DP-M98 but the DP-M7730 has 6 magazine and a single one at the bottom so i am using it for now!

The M1A is the model designation for the later introduced 'Kenwood Basic' series amp which lacks the Sigma Drive feature found on the Kenwood Basic M1.The same model number change takes place with the Sigma Drive Kenwood Basic M2,the non-Sigma version of that is the M2A.
