guys

i have been in contact with op via pm... he has genuine question, this was left behind from their recently deceased grandfather... I think they are looking for a good home opposed to money. it is in really nice shape and i am sure holds sentimenal value.

p.s.
hink, welcome to ak

I have seen them at estate sales in the $20 to $40 range with no takes three times in the past six months. The one we had at a sale I helped ended up being donated to Operation Food Outreach, where it gets used every day in their dining room.

This is a delicate situation, where sentimental value far outweighs market value. It is hard to find a situation where a new owner would value it in a similar fashion.

To be brutally honest, it is worth more kept as a family heirloom than anything it might bring on the open market. It certainly looks to be in very nice shape, but even a more rare, tubed Fisher model is difficult to sell. There truly is just not a current market for these beauties. My advice would be to hang on to it, cherish it and pass it down to the next generation of the family. Keep the memory of its original owner alive through it and word-of-mouth stories surrounding it.

I was not aware Hink, sorry about your loss. I did not open your link because I know what a '67 Fisher is. My apologies for being so short.
