Fisher console pulls?

So far I have identified 3 Fisher console poweramps:
300/EL34
480/6BQ5
680/7591
My question is, is there a 6V6 console amp and if so what is the number?:scratch2:

thanks for helping me in my search for a fisher console pull.

PS: just learning of the othere console amps in the 300-600 # series.

Fisher didn't make a 6v6, or 6L6 stand-alone amp. They did make consoles in the 50's with 6V6 and 6L6 amp sections but these were all Radio Chassis' with the exception of the earliest Radios, the S-9 and Model 24's they were 6L6 based but mono. By1959-1960 they had dropped the 6V6 and 6L6 in favor of the EL-34, EL-84, and 7591 type amps.

The 3 you listed are representative of the types, but are not all of the amps FISHER built with tubes.

You can look up the various model #'s of the amps on the FISHERCONSOLES
site, Amps are suffixed with an "A". Tuner/preamps are suffixed with a "T".
Not all amps Fisher made were used in consoles, however most were.

I've just begun my search for fisher console pulls. Trouble is the all are priced thru the roof. I'll just wait and see what turns up.
 
As far as Fisher amps with 6L6 tubes goes, there was certainly the 70A, 70AZ, 80AZ and 100 mono models that used 6L6 class tubes (5881 or KT66s), with all of them being used in consoles at various points as well. I think that even the 100 was used in pairs in some of the earliest stereo consoles, too.

Thanks Dave; I didn't consider those variants. I took him literally when he said 6V6 and lumped the generic 6L6 into it.
 
The EL37 is indeed a 6L6 class tube -- basically equal to a 6L6GB, which is also basically the same as the 5881 when the different rating systems used are evened out.

That's what was in the 80AZ and the 100 from the factory.

As Dave already noted, yes. The Knight KB-85 used them from the factory, most people replace them with the Soviet 6L6GC equivalent, or old US 6L6GCs.
