Fisher RS-1052

I just brought this home from Goodwill. At $25.00 I took a chance and am happy I did!

I've been running a Sansui 4000 for umpteen decades and while the Fisher doesn't have that huge Sansui bass I have to say I really like the punchiness of the Fisher and with a little boost of the bass knob it gets quite close.

Everything seems to work (its been playing for 20 minutes) except FM stations below 93.0 aren't coming in, I think it needs a Deoxit bath but the FM stations that do come in are stronger than the Sansui, also the seperation on those stations is HUGE on the Fisher. Very Nice!

I also own a Sansui 4000. Nice sounding receiver, for my ears one of the best made.

That is my first receiver which I purchased in 1975... I thought it did a very good job considering it's low power. I'm sure running it with high efficiency JBL's helped the case there. Mom inherited it when I moved on...
