Did you get your woofers for you Fried's yet.

Well, since this thread looks like it's still alive, I sent Fried a check for 2 pairs, and then within a few weeks, two boxes showed up at my door. I had forgot all about them.
I know this is a simple procedure, but the instructions could be a little clearer and more graphic. There is a reference to saving and reusing the "gasket" material. This confused me because I was thinking I would see something more substantial then the very thin film that was between the back rim of the original speaker and the pressed wood box. When I read "gasket", I thought I was literally missing something. A picture would be worth a thousand words here. Also, you throw away the plastic mounting ring from the original and the screws from the original. The instuctions say something about tossing the old ring, but it all could just be a lot clearer. I figured it out, but I had a few moments of unnecessary uncertainty:tears: :saywhat:.
They sound great to me and I'm happy with them. Right now I'm just using then for ambient music in a medium size room, so I have no critical test result or opinion to offer. I think it's a good deal.
