G9000 Parts Source

I need a selector switch for my G9000 (5 position, not the 7 position tape mon switch). I posted a wanted ad here in Sansui parts, but I just wanted to check for other places that may be parting out units. I checked the oaktreeent site and they did not have one.

Does anyone know of other sources?

You could try the Sansui site. They have a parts link on the home page. They might have what you need, or know of a source. Good luck. I have the G-9000db model myself.

Mine is a DB as well, I should have said that to begin with. The DBs always seem to have an issue - at least my dead 9090DB did....

Thanks, I have been checking that link as well. I have not removed the switch since it does work - just need to jiggle it to get the L channel sometimes. I will try de-oxit and see if that buys me some time. It is a 5 position switch.

Apply some D-5. Work the switch a few dozen times. Repeat.
Then do the same to every switch in the unit. Don't forget the connected/separated switch on the left side by the speaker terminals. Probably wouldn't hurt to puff a little F-100 into the pots while you have it apart.
The only replacement switch you will ever get for that unit is just as old as the one that's in it.
