Gerrard Turntable - $5

Someone is selling a $5 Gerrard turntable on CragisList in my area. I just e-mailed the seller to obtain the model number. There is appearantly a problem with it. No sound comes out of one of the sides.

Do you guys think I think go for it?

Yes !!! THe 65's built in the late 60's was a very good Garrard turntable and they were plentiful. GRAB IT !

Ex-Out the last post. I was able to get the Gerrard turntable ($5)! I also got a Sony TC-WE305 for $25.

The turntable looks to be in need of some repair. I've never owned my own turntable, but I believe the needle is missing, a wire in the head/cartridge(?) need to be resoldered, and the idler wheel drive may need to be replaced or is abit sticky and needs to be cleaned(?).

I'll post pictures soon.
