Good afternoon from snowy Long Island

Welcome, Tom. I'm based part time in Glen Cove/Sea Cliff, part time up in northern CT. If you're not far from me on LI, it would be great to meet a fellow enthusiast.

I've been playing all my old albums, mostly from the 60s-80s. I bought a new stylus for my Empire cartridge and also bought a new cartridge to test out. My receiver is a Pioneer SX-650 and my turntable is a Sony PS-X30. They still sound good to my less than perfect ears.

Anyway, I'm having a blast and hope to learn from this forum and have some fun.
