Grado Labs Cans ?

I own a pair of the rs1 that I retrieved from the recycle bin in town for free. Only needed new foam pads and it blew away the sound of my 70's akg k240. Different sound, but like both for different reasons. Don't find the grado as comfortable to wear though.
 
SR125i here (among 3 additional phones I currently own)

like - open back, very articulate and extended low lows and high highs and nice mid mids (hope that makes sense)

not so much - their sonic signature can be a bit glaring in the upper - mids

but, I might have an over - sensitivity to that particular freq range as I am sensitive to it with industrial noise and loudspeakers, too
 
So, what? If folks like their 'phones and want to contribute a thought, more power to 'em!
Those considering new headphones might find such thought useful, especially those of the modern posters.
