I have some items I want to buy buy it is in Graham Washington and I am in Albuquerque .so I need someone for shipping the items via fedex ups etc .I could use all items but the receiver is most important. I am willing to pay for this service ,not wanting something for nothing here. but it seems if I want it is not here .so someone help me out please...Rob

Hi, I live in Seattle, about 25 miles north of Graham. PM me and let me know the details, and hopefully we can make this work.
 
It looks like the gear may be better than thought and if it was not for goinslow I would not be getting it ,some of you know I have cancer a fact I keep from most but I am going through some very drastic therapies in the next few months.
and when goinslow offered to help me not only did he not know me but he certainly did not know my medical condition .

I commend him for helping me when he did not have to,it is people like him that reminds me that not all people are only in it for themselves .thank you so much .and if you need any computer help you have lifetime tech support because when I am not sick I am a damn fine tech (lol)

From Graham to NM

Picked up the gear today. Receiver is a Sansui 8900zdb. Turntable Technics SL-1600. Speakers are Kenwood KL-888X. Tested and working. The turntable works, but has a broken AT stylus. It holds speed, arm lifts up and down. Receiver lights all work. Aux input works as does the tuner. The controls will need a deoxit cleaning. The balance control seems to be the worst, when adjusting cuts out, but to be expected. Sound is clear when put back to even. Also noticed the right input for Aux will cut out some when you wiggle the rca cable. Speakers are hooked up, and all drivers functioning. Cosmetics are: Sansui 8/10 some scuffs on case, and a couple scuffs on the top edge of metal trim. Speakers are in 8+/10 with just the bottoms having scuffs. Turntable: 9/10 Dustcover excellent as is the body. Only issue as mentioned is the missing stylus. Both the receiver and speakers come with original owners manuals. Stock pics of the gear.

that is actually what I thought everything was but I was not sure on the turntable.I want you to call me (good thing) when you can...Rob
 
well I am so looking forward to getting the speakers and receiver as my second system is on the blink.so thanks again goinslow for the Help . it is deeply appreciated.
 
goinslow although you never asked for anything other than to pay the expenses I talked to my wife and above and beyond what your packaging fees are .
we want to send you additional money for your time and effort .my wife has an account with FedEx so we can send you cash for you and then Fedex stickers for the boxes and then they will pick them up or you can drop them off at the nearest FedEx ground facility.
we think we have come up with a number that you would feel is fair but I will wait till you call to discuss that instead of open forum. again thanks so much for your help . so give me a call and then when you are ready to ship let me know and I will next day everything to you,,,Thanks

I know your busy so after you can give me the size of the boxes and how many and an estimated weight but it does not have to be more than just an estimate
.I will FedEx the stickers for the packages and I thought a postal money order with your cost and some extra nice guy pay will all come at the same time.

I could just send a regular money order but my experience is postal money orders are safer .oh and if you do not want to bother with your bank the post office will cash them for you.again take your time there is no rush . and me and my wife both thanks you:D
 
oh and FED EX will pick up whatever day is convenient for you we can even schedule a Saturday pick up if that is better for you although it would be cheaper not too,thanks again
 
If you need to call me the evening will be best as due to my liver treatments I am ay a lot of doctors but I will check here daily.we are ready to send everything plus a little extra as soon as you can give me box dimensions and an address ,again thanks again

I am not sure if you are still gone for the Holidays or not ,but when you have everything packed let me know as I have a money order to send you for all the trouble and I will print fedex labels and overnight them to you.
all I will need is size of packages and a guess at weight ,
the weight does not have to be spot on as fedex will weigh them and charge us from what they find.
I hope you had a good Holiday and have a great New Years eve and thanks so much for your help:D
 
oh and any day that you want is the day I will have fedex do the pick up.
and again no hurry just wanted to keep in touch.and send me a message with the price of the speaker boxes as I want to make sure you are completely compensated for anything you are out of pocket and then some more for your doing this for me although I know you did not ask for extra but we just feel you deserve it:D

Turbomustang, very sorry to read about your cancer; I hope your treatments are smooth, relatively painless and completely successful! Prayers and wishes sent your way. Make sure you eat a lot of raw vegetables and liver-supportive foods; they do help!
