Hello,
Another audio enthusiast from the Pacific Northwest joining the forum.... Looking forward to some education, insights and a few laughs with the group... In my sixties now and I have always enjoyed listening to two-channel stereo. One of the very few pluses of getting older is hopefully we have paid off most of our bills and have a couple of more dollars to indulge our hobbies, that's where I currently find myself. I enjoyed the same 1970's Pioneer setup for a very long time, but I began some system upgrades about five years ago and after reading comments from others, I started listening to low-wattage tube amps for the last two years...
The fun part seems to be more about enjoying the journey as opposed to rushing to get somewhere... Currently I enjoy listening primarily to Americana genre of music with a small tube amp and some big, old Altec speakers.
