Hello,to all...for years,I've been eavesdropping on your discussions...A few years ago,I reluctantly decided to transfer all of my automotive service literature(Volvo,Jeep, and Ford mostly) to a laptop, and even have the tools to use my laptop as OBDII ,if I want....All that meant,I had entered the modern world, and now I do almost all of my research online...Handy thing, that ol web...Which led me to join this site, which I found to be far superior in members knowledge, general layout and navigation...I'm far too busy to be a member at many sites,so I concluded AK was a clear choice....Thanks for helping me the past 3-4 years...I'm late, but I'm here to party....I also have been a hobbyist for over 3 decades, with a sabbatical of basically the 90's ...It doesnt seem like I missed much as it is prob my least fav decade for gear...I'm a Lafayette nut,as well as Yamaha,Oink's and KR's .I also think Infinity is the best speaker I've ever heard...Mind you,a blacksmiths income doesn't lend itself to many more options, but in my spare time I've taught myself to repair gear,(with a lot of help here),which is rapidly becoming a part time gig...I've been given a good amount of testing equipment from my old employer, which was a railroad locomotive repair shop...My background is machine work/welder and auto tech,an early retirement for an injury forced me to evolve....Thanks again for letting me eavesdrop,I'm back in the game, and look forward to asking and listening....Regards.
