I was listening to my Dual 1219..., noticed that the music was just not sounding too good. There did not seem anything wrong with the table or the rest of the setup. Just sounded flat and narrow.
So I started to look at the connections and what do you know???, the ground wire got disengaged. I connected it back...
Lo and Behold, all the music came back
Sound stage, depth, detail, bass.
I had no idea that the ground wire had this much importance. I thought it was just to get rid of the hum (for some reason there was no hum when the wire was disconnected).
Learned something again...
