Funny! I was on a bike ride with a group of people when we passed a sign that said "Bunnies and Rabbits for Sale." Someone said "Bunnies and Rabbits, what's the difference?" I replied Bunnies are something that you give to your kids for a pet. Rabbits are something you cook and eat."

Yay Merrily.....

Haven't had Bugs (as in Bunny) on the Bar-B-Q for a longtime, but since my daughter is coming over I'll stick to a rack of lamb. She will still get mad at me, as I always wait until she is done eating before I tell her. She loves the taste of roasted lamb or goat, but doesn't want anyone to tell her what it is.

Happy Easter right back at you and to all here on AK. That link reminds me of terrible reality, I guess bluntly outlines the realities of different cultures. A the grand daughter of one of my mother's friends was teaching in China. She was there alone and wanted to buy a pet to keep her company. She went down to a "pet" store. She picked out a nice puppy. They told her that it would be ready for her in a half hour. To go about and do her shopping. She came back and the fellow handed her a bag. Obviously she was perplexed. Inside was her skinned puppy.... She apparently quit her job and ...ked off back to America with a few days... And I do not blame her one ... bit.

The very definition of culture shock.
