Harman Kardon Citation II Turret Board

I am restoring a Citation II and it has the black turret boards. In reading online people say they become conductive. Has anyone heard or experienced this here? I found a board on eBay that looks like it will work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Harman-Kar...594751?hash=item5d937ff3bf:g:lz0AAOSwO0Vdk6OY

Would this be a better alternative to just cleaning and reusing the black turret boards?

You could measure it - may not show up on an ohmmeter, but a cap tester can find even minuscule leakage. I'd think it would be fine if cleaned well.

May need a megger to check it if toasted.

So you would suggest I remove the components and test from turrets on opposite sides of the board to check for leakage?

I would be skeptical of something new being better, particularly the quality of the pins, and how that would hold up in 60 years' time. I think measure it if you have any doubts, and if you can't measure it I wouldn't worry about it. I rebuilt one with the black boards that is working great and sounding incredible, and those boards were in great shape and showed no signs of not lasting another 60 years.
