Headphone help for my Musical Paradise MP-301

I got this beauty from a fellow AKer... Here's the manual recommendations:

Headphones with >=50ohm impedance are recommended. For
example: AKG K240s, K701, K702, Q701; Sennheiser HD600, HD650,
HD700, HD800; Beyerdynamic DT880, DT990 (250/600ohm), T1; Audeze
LCD2, LCD3.

Looking sub 200 price and not a fan of the sennheiser fit on in my huge noggin. Thinking the beyerdynamics, I don't want a ton of leakage as this is a nightstand set up I will listen to mainly when wife is asleep. She is early riser I am late nighter... Also what ohm do you recommend with this amp? Thanks for any input and I appreciate your help

The Beyerdynamic DT880's were my gateway to a better headphone experience. I've had that amp too.

One issue though, they are open back and your wife might hear them. I don't have any higher impedance cans with closed backs to recommend.

I use vintage AKGs with mine. 600ohm K240 Sextett and DF. And the AKG K501 (150ohm).
