Moved my E II ‘s to the basement system. I wanted to hear what the TypeC ‘s would now sound like on my reference system. Well???? OMG!
Baco99 did the recap on the Type C’s. They are huge sounding now. Like in a concert hall. No more moving for a while.

Mighty fine!

Rome
Amazing what the Type C’s can do. I had them on a refurbished Marantz 2275 in the basement and thought they were amazing there. Upstairs on the big stuff, it’s just breathtaking. Did this while the wife is at work. Can’t wait for her to hear Chris BOTTI on these. She loves Chris BOTTI.

Great looking rooms, Ernie!
Thanks Brian. The basement room where the E II’s are now, is a bit more in your face. I am sure it’s because of the lower ceilings and being rectangular. The upstairs where the Type C’s are is more spacious and concert hall sounding. That room has lots of different angles and ceilings that go from 8’ all the way up to 22’. I also have stairs with railings behind the listening position. Thanks again for your great job on my Type C’s.

I now really can tell a lousy recording. Thought something happened today when I put an album on. Horrible, no bass, no depth, like a cheap radio. Pulled out a known quality record and....WOW......its back. So now I will have to weed out some albums over the next few months.
