Hey guys. Dave here. West side of Orlando to be more specific.
So recently, at the old age of 35, I realized that I've have never had a legitimate stereo system. I have always loved music and am a bit of a musician myself. But recently I have grown tired of the bluetooth boxes and wanted to really hear and feel music.
I have vinyl from my childhood that I am dying to get turning on a 'large' system. (The Who, Toto, Miles Davis. Mostly my parents collection). Also, I have started to purchase newer vinyl as well.
I am a bit intimidated by the whole 'hi-'fi' world. I have spent hours upon hours reading the forums trying to figure out where to start. But, I am very excited to learn and build this new hobby.
I work in Aviation and have a ton of free time to sit around and read about speakers, and amps, and pre-amps and other things that I'm not entirely sure apply to me. My soon to be wife is about sick of hearing about it.(she is supportive though)
Anyway, I plan on posting soon in the forums because I am lost as to where to start.
Thanks for having me.
