Hello. My name is Ben and I'm an old (56) audiophile living in central IL. I'm employed as an electronics tech at the USPS. In the 70's & 80's I was employed as an audio bench tech for a small stereo outlet. We sold & serviced Marantz, Sony, Teac, Bose, Technics, Dual, Garrard and a few other brands. At one time I owned a 500 Marantz, a Bose 1801, a Sony TAN-8550/TAE8450, a Sony PS-8750 and a few other pieces of vintage equipment. Today I own a pair of Infinity QLS 1's which I purchased new in '76 (I think) and drive them with an Adcom GFA-555/GFP-565. I also have a pair of Bose 901's which I drive with a pair of SWTPC Tiger 01's. I also just ordered a Sony TA-4650 VFET to try with the Bose. Anyway, I love music & love old electronics equipment. This looks like a good forum for such things. Feels good to be here. :music:

Hello from Fulton County, Illinois, also in the central part of the state.

I recommend searching the forums if you are looking for discussions of particular kinds of equipment or problems. Of course you can always post a new question, too.
