Help identify my RtR HPR-12 speakers

Apparently these speakers proceeded the HPR-12 Magnum. I have search the web trying to get some background on what i have. The crossover/connection/control panel on the back is identical to the HPR-12 Magnum, however, instead of an "M" there is the letter "F". Serial #F00181 is on one speaker and #F00170 is on the other. Speaker layout and grill design is as follows: 12" passive on bottom, 12 powered above that and mid-range and tweeter side-by-side on top. Instead of having a walnut strip midway up the speaker front resulting in 2 grills, these have a 3" wide walnut piece across the very top and very bottom of the cabinet face. The 33" tall grills, leave 1.5" of exposed walnut at the top and bottom of the 36" tall cabinets. the RtR t, is round on the lower RH corner.

They look and work great. I am just curious what I have here and, I want to order a pair of tweeters for them as one tweeter is damaged. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks for reading this.

Update - Crossovers pulled, caps ordered, speakers individually tested (all ok). Here's my plan:
  • Clean the pots, bypass the circuit breaker, replace all the caps, upgrade all the wires (tiny little wires!) to the speakers. Test and the re-install.
  • Sand and refinish the cabinets, clean up and repair the grills; hot glue reinforce the inside of the cabinet
  • Remove all the putty seal and replace with closed foam seal (works great for passive radiator / sealed enclosures)
  • Put it all back together and test.
If it is sub-par, sell all the components separately and re-purpose the cabinets as a hybrid JBL L150. Similar size and gets the nice cabinets back in circulation.

I have a pair that I had stored for a while and just broke out to test and evaluate. Mine are just like yours, and serial # is F 00179 and F 00180. How about that? I got them from the original owner a few years ago. The tweeters sound like they don't work when hooked up to a music source, but when I took them out and tested they were ok. I plan to pull the crossover, re-cap, clean the pots, bypass the circuit breaker, and then retest. I have some JBL tweeters I could replace the paper tweets with but then they are no longer original. So I will put them back together first and test and let you know what I get. I have searched for info on these and come up empty until your post. My guess is this was the first try and the M is the second try. The mid sounded ok but no high end. The cabs are good but have some water stains, so I want to get the engine running first before I do the refinishing. They look good enough to re-purpose with other drivers and well built. Since you and I both have low serial numbers I'm guessing they did not sell many of these ... ( I posted this yesterday, I thought, but it was not in the thread this morning so I'm copying it back ... Rookie!)
