Chipp
Computer nut gone stereo!
Hey all,
There's been a lone ADS speaker in the local thrift for months now, always in the same spot near the window. I finally gave it a serious look today, but it didn't have any model number or other identification marks on it, other than the badge on the front with tone control, specs, curves, etc. I wrote down those specs and was hoping that with some general info it would be possible to figure out what it most likely is just for my own curiosity.
It's a 3-way, with what I'd guess to be either a 8 or 10 inch woofer. The dustcap is missing, cone is a white woven material, possibly fiberglass? Relatively high excursion.
According to the badge:
Liquid Cooled
125w Max Program power
Frequency response 43hz - 25khz
8 ohm
98 db/w
Unfortunately thats all the info I've got.
Hopes are high for ADS gurus.
