Help w/re-rubber surrounds Norman Labs

Has anyone tried using the new rubber kits on Norman Labs? I have a pair of model 82 for 30 yrs. It'll be my first time to tackle this kind of project & Simply Speakers has a rubber kit that fits-the foam ones do not, plus the rubber will last longer. I've already taken the woofer out to check if the gasket is still good.
Any other advice on repairing Norman Labs is appreciated....heard this place was the place to go!
