Heybrook TT2

I have spent a lot of time over the years around this table. I have always liked it and it's no nonsense sound. I actually had 2 tries at owning one but it did not happen. Fate has a way about it and I got a beauty. This is a mint TT2 with a Rega RB300 arm and Clearaudio Aurum Beta cart. Besides the dust it could have been unpacked yesterday and it is musical. I also got an SME armboard for it but the set up on it now is outstanding.

This is just my test set up. It will be going into the main rack. :thmbsp:

Congratulations, a very cool turntable! I used a TT2 quite a lot while living in Britain with friends for half a year. That one had an early Linn Basik tonearm and an Arcam MM cartridge. A very well made and sensible turntable with great sound (at least the one I listened to). My Ariston RD11S resembles the TT2 in many ways, but I'd still love to have a Heybrook turntable as well.

All the best,
Jake

Nice, nice TT. In my early years in this hobby, there were three decks that I pined for. Linn LP12, Heybrook TT2 and Logic DM101. The TT2 is the one I wanted most because it seemed to me that it offered the best bang for the buck and looked effing fantastic. I'm green with envy.
