HH Scott speaker ID

Hi all,

Years ago I picked up a pair of Scott 12'' 3 ways. The cabinets were water damaged beyond repair, but the drivers, crossovers, and grills were salvageable. I no longer have the drivers, but was wondering what model speakers they were. The cabinets did not have any model designation.

The grills were dated 1969, and the mids, tweeters, and crossovers were identical to that of the S-15, basically it was a larger S-15. Does anyone have an idea what model they might have been?

There's some good threads here on AK with regards to HH Scott speakers, check out AK's "Search" feature (upper right hand corner) type in "HH Scott" and you should hopefully be able to find some info.

Thanks, I'm aware of the search feature, I tried it and couldn't find anything about them. I also tried google, no images or description that looks/sounds right.

Thanks, but doesn't the S11 have a 10'' woofer? My Scotts had 12'' woofers.

The dimensions are about right, though. I still have the grills, so I have a rough idea of what size the cabs were.

Just add about 1 1/2" to the grill dimensions and that should get you close to the cabinet height and width. Good luck.

These are the S 11b speakers. Looks like 12" woofers...
