Just joined and saying hi!
Loved audio for a long time, grew up with it all around. Also play the piano.
Family had a set of 70s Avids that stayed around for a while. End of the 80s brought the Martin Logan Sequel II and those were kept for about 15 years. Other family had all sorts of speakers including the amazing klipschorn.
First system was a Sony boom-box in the 80s. Eventually moved to Altec 100 (not true altecs, but those were pretty good). Since then there's been Monitor Audio B2, Monitor Audio RS6, Martin Logan ESLs, JBL LSR305, Klipsch KG4, Klipsch Heresy III, and now Cornscala B on order!
