Vintage receiver ,dvd changer and insignia TV with not many outputs.If I go component from dvd to TV what inputs are left to hook up vintage receiver

Component video from DVD out to TV in, audio L&R from DVD to receiver AUX in. If the TV has audio out, run it to receiver TAPE IN.

Does the TV have analog outputs? A vintage receiver will only handle audio.

I should be able to listen to dvd through the receiver two channel

If it doesn’t, you will need a dac with optical in ( assuming the tv has an optical output) and rca out.

I bought the TV used got A really good deal on it.Can,t believe that they would only put one component out on it.Cheaper I guess.

The TV is hooked to cable box via HDMI.Gotta stop drinking cheap Beers

Man my 27 watt vintage receiver blows my 110 watt AVR out of the Water.

This is why we do the vintage audio thing. You are not comparing apples to apples when you compare specs between vintage and modern, or even between different brands or models. The playing field has never been even. It was and is to no brands benefit.
