How about using RX-730 or 770 as pre-amp instead of C-50?

I have a C-50/M-50 combo but C-50 doesn't have remote functionality.
So I'm using RX-730 receiver as pre-amp so I can control volume/inputs with a remote.

Does RX-730 or I also have RX-770 have better pre-amp section than C-50?

Seperates tend to have bettersounding qualities than Recievers or Integrated's. Give it a try .
 
That's what I assumed but the convenience of remote is really nice to have even if it degrades little bit quality.
I like the sound from RX-730 so far.
