How about we all share what we are using to power our Klipsch Loudspeakers

I just picked up my first pair of Klipsch speakers a couple of weeks ago. A pair of Chorus II to complete my stable of speaker types: Conventional (Green Mountain Audio
C-3), Electrostatic (Martin Logan Summit) and now HiEff horns. I have driven them with a pair of solid state Tube Research Lab Samson monos (300 w/ch) and Viva
Aurora SET monos (845 Tube - 28watts/ch). The Chorus II and Vivas are a great match. The Samson monos are also great but missing some of the SET magic.

Currently using a Sony TA-A1ES integrated amp for the new Forte IIIs. The amp is a new design and supposedly runs in Class A most of the time and uses sliding bias for volume control. Sounds great and very clean.

But I just ordered a new KT88 P-P integrated from China and paid in USD (may President Trump forgive me!) It's a "Wilsenton" R8 which is a new name for a GS Audio R8. 45 wpc in ultralinear. After tube type, I decided based on SNR and weight. with cosmetics not ignored.

Got my Quartets powered by a rebuilt Fisher 400 and I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon. I rebuilt the Quartet crossovers and got the Crites titanium tweeters as well. The sound is incredible, so clean and warm. Maybe I'm an easy pleaser but I have to admit it brings tears during some performances.

Rookie here. You all have some fantastic systems!

I'm currently running KG-3.0 and KG-2.5's on Harman Kardon - HK330a and HK330b. Looking to purchase my first set of Heresy tonight. A local guy has a set of Heresy I that could use a bit of love.

Two weeks ago I put in my ARC ST-70-C3 this is a very modded Dynaco ST-70, only the transformer and the chassis are original ST-70, I received some 12g speaker cable with quad 9 copper and I made a set 6 feet long andDSCN0975.JPG DSCN0977.JPG I needed to play amp so that is what I did, later I will make a 4 foot set of cables to connect to my W-3AM Heathkit Amps. Wow it might be better then my Heathkit Monoblock's. Will have to play some more.

Sansui AU-999 / TU-999 restored and modded for my Cornwalls.

I picked up the Cornwalls pretty cheap since they needed cosmetically restored. This was my first try at something like this.

No tube amps here, but I am using low-ish powered Class A Schiit Aegir amps (running mono for 80 watts each), and the Freya + preamp currently running NOS Raytheon/Baldwin 6SN7GTB's and NOS Sylvania JAN VT-231's. And it sounds SOOOOOOOO good!

My big ones are just sitting in the corner- Cornwalls, Speakerlab 7s (do these count?) and Belles.. and one pair of my Forte 2s. But I have the other pair of Forte 2s driven by a DIYtube Stereo 35 (with Hammond iron) in 9W/ch triode mode. The other pair I have hooked up are KG4s (upside down on top of Forte 2s.. both in nearfield.. LOL) to my Radii Audio single ended KT88 monos. I use Foobar WASAPI (pass through media player in Windows 10) as the main source being fed into DACs... which I rotate all the time between SimAudio Moon 230HAD, Quad PA-One, Wyred4Sound DAC2, MeierCorda StageDAC, Firestone.. a few more. Forte 2s are my favorite unless I'm listening to headphones. They have officially beat out the Cornwalls as my favorite Klipsch in the house until I come across a set of Chorus. :^) At least with the small area I have for listening. I am aware of what the Belles can do in a big room though but I think they take third behind the Forte 2s and Cornwalls. That being said it will be a terrible day when I have to part with the Belles. Sorta like the day I traded my Klipschorns away. Hopefully never though..I'll keep a pretty iron grip on them like my 4333As.

Is the painting a Bierstadt?
No, it was painted by a deceased friend of mine, Robert A.M. Stephens. He taught himself to paint and did quite a bit of contract work for NASA back in the ‘80’s. He was greatly influenced by Bierstadt, Church and Moran, obviously.
