How do you get this thing open?

I recently acquired a Rotel RX-152 Receiver. It works just fine, but I am wondering how to get this thing open to look at the guts inside. It is completely encased in wood with only a small steel square panel on the underside that comes off, but as far as i can tell, the wood casing is meant to never come off. How can you fix or replace parts if anything goes wrong? At least the RX-152 MK11 has the metal plate on top so you can peer in, but this one does not.

If I was to guess, the screws that hold the feet on are also holding the chassis in place.

So what you're saying is unscrew the feet and everything else under there and then pull off the wood casing all in one piece?

I've seen many pieces of gear that were held together by the four screws that secure the feet.
Removing these and possibly a plate on the backside (may be beaverboard) will allow the chassis to move forward and out of the enclosure.

yea, you're probably right because there are two other screws beside each foot as well that must be screwed to the chassis. I was wondering why they were there. Thanks.

Yup,

The Sansui 5000A/X is that way. Bolts in the bottom and eveything slides out the front.

Sort of clumsy to do, almost wish for 3 hands (the 5000 is heavy!).
