Chronic dabbler
Took a box of records and CDs to a couple of record stores to dump them. Mostly duplicates and stuff I got in lots...things I don't listen to. I was able to get rid of about 3/4 of them anyway....but I ended up coming back with almost as many ..:wtf: This ever happen to you? ( I bet it did...:music:).

Not yet! I haven't gotten rid of anything! Not true! I have given away duplicates or older worn records to friends just getting into vinyl. Ya, if I go to a record store, I will come home with a record(s). I can always find something I want.

I have about a hundred in the "to be cleaned before listening box." Yes I have been there.

Maybe happened (during the dollar bin LP days ... early 2000's for me) but not happening now. Don't buy many CD's anymore ... some new & used Vinyl but today's market prices & legacy inventory realities (availability & condition) keep things in check for me.

Streaming has also taken away the desire for me to own as much hard media ... many albums fall into the ... rent vs buy category .... like DVD rentals as a analogy.

I do need to do some more culling of some hard media stored in my basement. If I can't justify bringing it upstairs on the main floor ... do I really need it at all?
