New member here. I've popped into AK for years to read posts and finally decided to join. I'm from upstate SC and have always been an audio enthusiast (on a meager budget). Being just a working guy with a family and bills, my audio equipment isn't the top end stuff by any means. I buy what I can afford and it doesn't get replaced unless it becomes irreparably broken. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate on those that can afford the highest caliber gear. I would do the same if I had the funds. Besides, when top gear gets upgraded, it allows others to buy the older gear at a discount. That's a good thing for those of us on a budget. With that said, I enjoy hearing the real world reviews of gear by those that have actually used it in their homes. In the last 5 years, I've been wanting to upgrade my gear as finances allow. I look forward to learning more about various gear that I'm thinking of upgrading to. Hopefully, I can make some online friendships with other audio enthusiasts as well.
