I went to an estate sale the other day and had a momentary lapse of reason. Two truck loads with one more to go..... I do get the shelving though, so that's a plus....right?

That is EXACTLY why the wife doesn't allow me to go to such sales... Great gooogly moogly, that's a lotta music. Tell us about the genres, etc?

I can understand the impulse. Is it stuff you like to listen to, though? Just remember that true collecting is more like thoughtfully curating than simply accumulating.

It's mostly Classical/Symphony/Opera stuff. Not really my cup of tea. I figured it was easier to buy it all than spend forever cherry picking it. I've found several SACDs. Didn't have lots of time to look while packing. Needed to get out of the house at a certain time. Maybe I can take a better look at the laser discs when I go back to get what I left. There were literally tons of LDs. It was overwhelming. These CDs will help pay for the other stuff I bought (I hope).
